Ben Belton has worked extensively in South and Southeast Asia over the last decade, including Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam.

His research has focused primarily on the drivers and consequences of aquaculture and capture fisheries development, with an emphasis on poverty, wellbeing, food and nutrition security, agrarian change, value chains and the environment.  He currently works fulltime on the USAID funded Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy: Burma.
