Biographical Information

Current AFRE PhD candidate specializing in agricultural markets (degree expected August 2016).  Skilled econometrician with extensive knowledge of strategic management, food systems organization, program evaluation, policy analysis and survey design.  Research focus lies at the nexus of food systems and agribusiness management, with specific topics of interest including food access, food assistance, healthy food demand and labeling.  In partnership with the USDA-ERS, dissertation analyzes low-income and low-access households’ expenditures on healthy food away from home.
